Dr. Paul Marinescu

Paul Marinescu

Paul Marinescu has a PhD at the University of Bucharest and the University Lyon 3, with a thesis on “The Universality of Hermeneutics”. He works as researcher at the Alexandru Dragomir — Institute for Philosophy, Romania. From 2013, he is member of the board of Studia Phaenomenologica. Doctoral fellowships: Ministry of Research – France (2004), AUF (2005-2008). In 2006, he received the prize Cotutelle de thèse, awarded by the Association „Les Amis de l’Université de Lyon”. Postdoctoral research projects: CNCSIS – PD (2011-2013). Postdoctoral fellowship: Romanian Academy (2014-2015). Paul Marinescu published articles and held international conferences on the French and German Hermeneutics. His main areas of research are: Hermeneutics, Phenomenology, Historiography and Psychoanalysis.
